MISTI (Minggu Sains Teknologi & Inovasi) MOSTI was held in Perlis from the 12th of November to the 15th of November 2008. The event was launched by DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Jamalullail at Dewan 2020, Kangar, Perlis on the 13th of November 2008 (Thursday) at 3.00 pm. The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Datuk Dr. Maximus Ongkili and the Chief Minister of Perlis, Datuk Dr Md Isa Sabu were present to grace the event.
DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Jamalullail The event provided agencies within MOSTI to showcase their respective products and services to the general public. The ANGKASA booth was a crowd favourite among the students from various institutions. The Mini Planaterium received a lot of attention as well because special telescopes were made available to observe the sun. Angkasawan Negara, Mej. Dr Faiz Khaleed and members of our association (Wan Ahmad Jailani bin Wan Ngah and Norhisham bin Ramli) were present to interact with the general public. Mej. Dr Faiz gave speeches, signed autographs and shared his experience throughout the 4 day event.
