Aerospace Edu Staff, Sam Gibbs, Prof. Nor Azam and ITo celebrate Aidil Adha, Aerospace Education Sdn Bhd recently organized an Astronomy Night at the APIIT Smart School. Prof. Nor Azam Md Nor from Universiti Sains Malaysia gave a talk on Introduction to Astronomy and I followed with a presentation about the Angkasawan Programme. The crowd which consist of schoolchildren and parents were exposed to video clips of the centrifuge training we had to undergo during the selection process.

We moved on to the main event which was to study the skies but due to low cloud cover, we were unable to do so. However Sam Gibbs showed us a great 3D presentation of the surface of the moon and mars to make up for the poor weather. In the end everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time.
