Rocketry in Penang

In the midst of election fever, we made our way to Penang to conduct our 7th rocketry workshop at SMK Permatang Rawa, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. 23 students from their secondary school were exposed to the wonderful world of rocketry. They were encouraged to think out of the box and figure out how to get the ratio of their chemical mix correct to launch their very own home grown rockets. Software programming to measure the thrust vector of their rockets were also taught. We had a great time in Penang today and hope that the participants got something out of it as well.
