Space Symposium in Planetarium Negara

We organized a Space Symposium at the Planetarium Negara today in an effort to promote aerospace studies to college students and the general public. A total of six speakers were invited to present their papers related to the field of astronautics and space science. Mohd Yusfi opened the proceedings, followed by Mr. Jong from the Planetarium elaborating on the ZeroG project. Soon after my presentation, Ir. Ikhwan who came down all the way from Qatar talked on “Laser Scanning in Mapping”. The highlight of the day was Bostami Ahmad’s presentation on spaceship designs with the closing paper by Prof. Harridon on “Aircraft Health Monitoring System”. The event was a great success and we would like to thank everyone that attended the event, especially undergrads from Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor and most importantly Planetarium Negara for the venue and their continued support. We look forward to bringing you more space related events in 2015. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you from AAM.
