Google’s 3i Seminar

Google Malaysia is holding a 2-day seminar dubbed ‘3i for ilmu, intergrasi & inovasi’ to promote the STEM learning approach to school teachers. The seminar offers various sessions and workshops on the latest educational technology available. Teachers and educators will be able to network, learn new techniques and understand the different perspectives of local educators, like-minded people from industry and experts in STEM education.

I was invited to deliver the keynote address this morning for the opening ceremony of this inaugural event. I was a great honour to share our experience in teaching kids using the STEM approach with the 400 school teachers and educators that were present. AstroX also conducted a workshop session on ‘Pop-Rockets’ in which teachers can easily teach rocket science to their students using everyday available items. We would like to thank Cik Rahayu from Google Education Malaysia for inviting us and providing this great opportunity and we look forward to further events lined up.

For those interested to attend tomorrow’s seminar from 8am to 4pm please register here. Registration is free:

I guess it’s not rocket science anymore… just Google science 😛
