Angkasawan candidates’ help sought

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is calling all short-listed candidates of the Astronaut Programme to help in its space programmes. Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry secretary-general Datuk Abdul Hanan Alang Endut said the participation of the short-listed candidates before the final selection was done would help create greater awareness among schoolchildren and rural folk. Vanajah back for 6 months

VJ and Dr. Sheikh Vanajah Siva, Malaysia’s top female finalist of the Angkasawan Programme is back in Kuala Lumpur for 6 months for her final thesis to complete her Master in Quality and Operations Management. Talk on Integrity at USIM

A group photo with the students On the 25th of February 2009, I gave a talk on Integrity and the Angkasawan Programme to Sutera Indah college residents of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. The talk was in conjunction with their “Integrity Week 2009”. Though it rained that night and the event was held outdoors, the students came out in full force to support their programme. We interacted well and all of us had fun that night.
