PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian National Space Agency is planning an exhibition to celebrate Neil Armstrong’s life and legacy. The agency hopes to hold the exhibition by year-end. Rocktery Workshop bound for Lift-Off!!!

Great news…The Astronautical Association of Malaysia has been awarded a grant from 1Malaysia Development Berhad through the Dana Belia 1Malaysia youth development programme to conduct rocketry workshops throughout Malaysia as an effort to promote aerospace science to schoolchildren between the ages of 9 to 14. Astronomy Day Penang 2012

  Saturday, 28th April 2012. I was invited by the Penang State Mufti Department to give a talk to the general public at the Jusco Mall, Bandar Baru Perda in conjunction with their Astronomy Day event. Space Talk at Alice Smith

Today I was at the Alice Smith School (Secondary Campus, Equine Park) and conducted my presentation for two groups of students. The first being upper school post 16 and the second talk to year 10 students aged 14-15 years old. Both groups bombarded me with loads of interesting questions and I was very pleased to interact with most, if not all of them. I had a great time today and hopefully the students did too.
