We conducted our very first rocketry workshop for the members of our astronautics club in Cyberjaya today. It was held at the MDeC’s Knowledge Workers Development Centre. Their facilities are state of the art and we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to MDeC for letting us have your venue to run our programme. The workshop got 19 kids having fun mixing chemicals, learning software programming to measure the thrust vector of their rockets

We conducted a Rocketry demonstration for the school kids of Sekolah Rendah Stella Maris at the Planetarium Negara today. We would also like to thank our corporate sponsor J-Biotech for sponsoring the event.

Friday 27th February 2015: We conducted an advanced rocketry workshop in Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor in which 10 groups of students and lecturers got to experience designing their own rockets and launching them sky high. The competition resulted with both the lecturers team taking the two top spots to their relief. The workshop was held in conjunction with their “Science Carnival 2015”. In the end everyone had fun and the event was a great success.

In conjunction with World Space Week, Dr. Harridon and I gave a talk on careers in the aerospace industry at the main Planetarium theater to a crowd of 200 students and invited guests. Soon after, we conducted a rocketry workshop in the afternoon for 20 students from various schools around the Klang Valley such as SM Convent Bukit Nanas, SMS Selangor, SM Convent Sentul and a few others. 20th October 2014: We conducted a special rocketry workshop for 28 students from the Permata Pintar Negara foundation. This event was held in UKM to commemorate Malaysia’s 7th year anniversary of our first manned spaceflight mission. Three distinguished astronauts were also invited to grace the event, namely Chiaki Mukai the first Japanese woman in space, Klaus Dietrich Flade a German astronaut and Salizhan Sharipov a Russian cosmonaut.
